SlideShare is the world's largest community for sharing presentations. With 60 million monthly visitors and 130 million pageviews, it is amongst the most visited 200 websites in the world. Besides presentations, SlideShare also supports documents, PDFs, videos and webinars.
A really cool site that lets you upload your powerpoint presentations to the web! Pretty useful, but I had some problems. For a little while, I couldn't access my uploads. And it doesn't do animation. Your slides will be exactly the way you see them before you start the slideshow, so make sure you remove anything that would normally hide itself, like sound icons, and any pictures that would start the presentation off-screen should be moved onto the slide. It doesn't play sounds, either.

This is a quick youtube tutorial. The graphics are a little out of date- Slideshare has been updated since this video was made- but the basics are still the same. The buttons just look a little different.
